Orris Infrastructure and Godrej Properties Limited have reached an amicable settlement over matters related to the jointly developed Godrej Air project in Gurugram, bringing an end to the dispute between the two companies.

The Bombay High Court, while hearing a petition filed by Orris Infrastructure, ordered the immediate and unconditional release of Orris Managing Director Amit Gupta on August 25, 2026, after being informed about the settlement agreement between the parties.

A single-judge bench led by Justice Milind N. Jadhav noted that in view of the settlement agreement signed by both companies, Gupta was to be released forthwith. Senior advocate Amit Desai, representing Orris Infrastructure, informed the court that the parties had resolved the matter and sought Gupta’s release based on the agreement.

Senior advocate Abad Ponda, appearing for Godrej Properties, confirmed the settlement and stated that the company had no objection to Gupta’s release.

The dispute had originated from a complaint filed earlier in connection with statutory filings related to the LLP formed for the jointly developed Gurugram project. Following discussions between the parties, the settlement agreement was executed, resolving the matter.

Orris Infrastructure stated that its focus remains on delivering ongoing projects and fulfilling commitments towards homebuyers and partners. The company added that business operations and project activities continued without disruption, with customer delivery remaining a priority.
