Platinum Corp Plans Rs. 2.6 bn Investment for Four Mumbai Projects

Mumbai-based real estate developer Platinum Corp plans to develop four residential projects along Mumbai’s Coastal Road belt, with a combined investment of Rs. 2.6 bn and projected Gross Development Value (GDV) of more than Rs. 13.5 bn. The projects will offer approximately 226,000 sq ft of RERA carpet area for sale.

The portfolio includes Platinum Oceanic at Carter Road in Khar West, with about 45,000 sq ft of carpet area. Platinum Stellar on Main Avenue in Santacruz West will have approximately 39,000 sq ft, while Platinum Vibe in Model Town, Versova, will offer around 67,000 sq ft.

The fourth development involves the redevelopment of Jai Versova Society near Versova beach, with approximately 75,000 sq ft of carpet area for sale. Platinum Corp said work has recently begun on the sea-facing redevelopment, which has not yet been given a name and is expected to launch for sale towards the end of 2026.

The company said the total investment would be funded through internal accruals and institutional financing. Internal accruals will account for Rs. 1 bn, while Rs. 1.6 bn will come from ICICI Venture Fund, Bajaj Finance and AU Small Finance Bank.

The projects are at different stages of development. Platinum Oceanic is scheduled for possession by the end of 2027, followed by Platinum Vibe and Platinum Stellar in April 2030. The Jai Versova redevelopment is expected to take at least four years to complete. Platinum Corp said its development schedule is intended to align capital deployment with construction milestones while supporting planned sales and collections across the portfolio. The company also said the projects reflect its focus on luxury sea-facing homes in Mumbai’s western suburbs and on expanding its presence as connectivity in the area improves.
