Puravankara Inks JDA For Bengaluru Parcel, Plans Luxury Project
The site benefits from proximity to the Electronic City employment corridor and access to Hosa Road and Hosur Road, with connectivity to the Namma Metro Yellow Line. The micro-market has emerged as a residential catchment for professionals working in Electronic City and nearby employment hubs, supported by improving infrastructure and sustained demand for quality housing.
Ashish Puravankara, managing director of Puravankara Limited, said that Bengaluru remained the anchor of the company’s growth story and that South-East Bengaluru’s employment-led corridors provided conviction to invest. He indicated that the steady business development exemplified by this transaction underpins the company’s FY27 growth ambitions and that management would continue to pursue similar opportunities as they arise. The company attributed the move to a calibrated approach to expanding its development pipeline in the city.
Mallanna Sasalu, chief executive officer for South, described the parcel as delivering close to a million square feet of saleable area in a corridor with strong housing demand driven by employment, social infrastructure and connectivity.
