Bengaluru-based Raho Hospitalities is expanding its footprint across South India, with a fifth property underway in Coorg and plans to enter Ooty and Gokarna next. The brand, which currently operates four boutique homestays, offers over 50 rooms designed to blend modern comfort with local culture.
Raho’s philosophy centres around immersive travel. In Coorg, guests can join curated experiences such as the Coffee & Pepper Tour, trek to Tadiandamol peak, or engage in wellness activities and cultural dinners. The aim is to help travellers reconnect—with nature, themselves, and local communities.
“Our focus is on strengthening operational efficiency across select South Indian destinations to deliver consistently vibrant guest experiences,” said Gautham Somana, Co-Founder and CEO, Raho Hospitalities.
Positioned as an affordable premium offering, Raho caters primarily to millennials—solo travellers, young couples, groups, and families—seeking meaningful travel adventures. With an emphasis on thoughtful design, authenticity, and personalisation, the brand is carving a niche in India’s competitive hospitality space.
Staying true to its “Come Home to Nature” ethos, Raho plans to build a robust southern presence before turning its attention northward.
