Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd. (ROHL) has signed a new Regenta-branded property in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, marking its eighth hotel in the state. The upcoming Regenta Resort Dehradun will operate under a management contract, in line with ROHL’s asset-light expansion strategy.
Scheduled to open in June 2025, the 50-room resort is located in Kulhan and spans 5,050 square metres. Positioned as an 'Urban Retreat' for modern travellers, the resort offers convenient access to Mussoorie, Rishikesh, Haridwar, and Dhanaulti, while featuring panoramic views of Himalayan landscapes and surrounding forests.
The resort will include an all-day dining venue, a rooftop restaurant, a spa offering wellness therapies, a gym, an infinity pool, and a dedicated children’s area. For events and gatherings, it will house a 12,300 square foot banquet hall, a 1,506 square foot open lawn, and a 1,636 square foot pre-function area.
Chander K. Baljee, Chairman and Managing Director of ROHL, highlighted Uttarakhand’s tourism potential and affirmed the company’s commitment to growing its presence in top leisure destinations across India. He added, “With this new hotel, we continue to offer premium yet accessible luxury that resonates with new-age travellers.”
The project is being developed in collaboration with Sanjeevani Luxury Clouds. Shrikant Sharma, its Managing Director, expressed excitement over the partnership, stating the resort will help showcase Uttarakhand’s natural beauty to global visitors.
Set amidst the scenic Doon Valley at 2,100 feet above sea level, Dehradun is known for its pleasant climate and serene environment—making it a fitting location for ROHL’s newest venture.
