Saboo Sodium Chloro Buys Land For Tadoba Luxury Resort

Saboo Sodium Chloro Limited has acquired approximately 26 acres of land in Chimur, Maharashtra, near Tadoba National Park, for the development of a luxury resort branded “Samskara Tadoba”. The acquisition, announced on December 31, 2025, marks the company’s third land purchase of the year, following earlier acquisitions in Jawai and Udaipur.

Samskara Tadoba, planned as a five-star resort, will feature up to 150 keys along with two signature restaurants, a bar, multiple swimming pools, a private lake, an observation tower, nature walks, luxury conferencing facilities, recreational activities, a spa, a gymnasium and a dedicated children’s zone. The resort is expected to open to guests by 2027 and is estimated to generate employment for up to 250 people.

The company said it is applying to the Government of Maharashtra for incentives under the state’s existing industrial and tourism promotion policies. Construction is expected to begin in the coming months after receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals. SSCL has also initiated discussions for architectural design, construction and consulting services for the project.

With this development, Saboo Sodium Chloro Limited now has more than 850 hotel keys in its pipeline across four locations—Jaipur, Udaipur, Jawai and Tadoba. The company said it aims to establish itself as a nationally recognised luxury hotel player and continues to evaluate further land acquisition opportunities in markets such as Ranthambore, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Achrol.
