SECI Awards Two GW Wind Tender To Twelve Developers
Ganeko Four Energy Pvt Ltd and NLC India Renewables each received 200 MW allocations, representing the largest shares after the lowest bid. Purvah Green Power was awarded 175 MW and Torrent Green Energy secured 150 MW. These allocations follow standard auction bucket filling and capacity allocation procedures.
Halvad Renewables won 130 MW, Adyant Enersol secured 110 MW and Powerica was awarded 100 MW. Refex Green Power claimed 80 MW, while Atriwal Infrastructure, Ayana Renewables Power and Opera Energy were each allotted 50 MW. The distribution completes the two gigawatt package across the twelve successful bidders.
Several bidders did not receive capacity, including ABREL SPV 2 Limited which quoted Rs 3.90 per unit, Bhojraj Developers which bid Rs 4.18 per unit and Waaree Energies which quoted Rs 4.32 per unit. The tender was issued at marginally higher tariffs than SECI's earlier wind auction, which found tariffs in a narrow band of Rs 3.67 to Rs 3.69 per kWh. In that prior auction KP Energy emerged as the lowest bidder with 100 MW at Rs 3.67 per kWh.
The latest results indicate a modest rise in discovered tariffs compared with the previous round and include several repeat winners from earlier SECI tenders. SECI administered this award under Wind Tranche-XVIII as part of its ongoing renewable capacity procurement.
