Shapoorji Pallonji Enters Plotted Housing With Pune Project

Shapoorji Pallonji Real Estate has entered the plotted housing segment to tap rising demand, announcing its first such project in Pune with an estimated revenue potential of about Rs 6 billion.

The company, part of the Shapoorji Pallonji Group, has traditionally focused on group housing and is now expanding its residential portfolio by offering housing plots to buyers and long-term investors.

The foray comes with the launch of Treetopia, a premium 105-acre development in Pune comprising 483 residential plots. Plot sizes range from 2,000 to 6,000 square feet, catering to both end users and investors. The project is located close to the upcoming Purandar International Airport, which is expected to boost the area’s growth prospects.

Sumit Sapru, Chief Executive Officer of Shapoorji Pallonji Real Estate, said growing homebuyer interest in plotted developments prompted the expansion, adding that the project strengthens the company’s residential offering. He noted that ongoing infrastructure development is reshaping the region and positioning the Pune Growth Corridor as a high-potential micro-market.

Shapoorji Pallonji Real Estate has a total development potential exceeding 130 million square feet and operates across key property markets including Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Gurugram and Kolkata.
