Shriram Properties Ltd has entered into a joint development agreement (JDA) with a landowner to develop a Rs 7 billion premium residential project in Hinjewadi, Pune, the company announced in a regulatory filing on Thursday.

The project will span 0.7 million square feet and marks Shriram Properties’ second venture in Pune, further strengthening the developer’s presence in the western Indian real estate market.

The Bengaluru-based realty firm said the project will comprise around 650,000 square feet of saleable area, featuring premium residential units designed to cater to the city’s growing demand for modern urban living.

Shriram Properties, known for its focus on mid-income and affordable housing in southern India, has been expanding its footprint into key metro markets, including Pune, Mumbai, and the National Capital Region, through joint development and asset-light partnerships.

The company added that the project is expected to generate strong sales and revenue visibility over the coming years, aligning with its strategy to deliver sustainable growth and leverage opportunities in high-demand urban corridors.
