Trivana Wins IGBC Pre-Certified Gold in Hyderabad

Trivana, a boutique villa community in Almasguda, Tukkuguda, has received the IGBC Pre-Certified Gold rating, marking a notable milestone for wellness- and sustainability-led villa developments in South Hyderabad. The project offers low-density living with access to the Nehru Outer Ring Road and Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

Developed by GHR USM Developers, the project combines the Hyderabad real estate legacy of GHR Infra’s founders with the technology-driven real estate approach of USM MyCity, a US-based firm under the USM group. The development has been planned with a focus on renewable energy, ventilation and integration with nature, alongside amenities such as a swimming pool, gymnasium, clubhouse, skating rink, sports courts, step gardens and children’s play areas.

Trivana is projected to reduce water consumption by 37 per cent through efficient plumbing fixtures. It has also been designed to harvest 100 per cent of rainwater and treat 100 per cent of wastewater generated on site. Nearly 30 per cent of the site area has been reserved for native vegetation to support ecological balance and responsible water use.

The energy plan includes a proposed 18.9 kWp renewable energy system to meet 50 per cent of the common area lighting load, along with 100 per cent LED lighting in shared spaces. The project also incorporates building envelope measures to reduce heat gain and improve thermal comfort, as well as low-VOC paints and adhesives, natural ventilation, daylight-led planning, HCFC-free refrigerants and halon-free fire systems.

Further, GreenPro-certified materials account for 53 per cent of the total material cost. The project also uses recycled-content materials, eco-friendly wood and an organic waste converter with a capacity of 100 kg per day to process all wet waste generated onsite.

Commenting on the development, Karteesh Reddy M, CEO, GHR Infra, said that the IGBC Pre-Certified Gold recognition reflects the project’s approach to water conservation, energy efficiency, site planning, sustainable materials, waste management and occupant well-being.
