ARAPL Subsidiary Wins First US Order for Autonomous Truck Loading-Unloading Robot

Affordable Robotic and Automation, India’s first listed robotics company, has announced that its subsidiary, ARAPL RaaS (Humro), has secured its maiden US order for the Atlas AC2000 — an autonomous forklift designed for truck loading and unloading. 

The order, worth Rs 36 million, was awarded by a leading US-based logistics and warehouse management player after successful prototype trials. It includes two mobile robots leased for three years. The deal opens opportunities for large-scale deployment, with potential to introduce up to 15–16 robots across each of the client’s 15 warehouses over the next two years. 

 “Considering the scale and competition in the US market, we are thrilled to announce the success of our product with an established logistics player,” said Milind Padole, Founder and Managing Director, ARAPL. “This order marks a step towards positioning Make in India mobile robots in the global warehouse robotics sector — currently dominated by large US and Chinese firms.” 

The Atlas AC2000 features LiDAR-based navigation, real-time obstacle detection, and precision control algorithms for 24/7 autonomous operation. Integrated with warehouse management systems and ERP platforms, it enhances productivity while reducing costs. 

ARAPL RaaS (Humro), founded in 2021, focuses on autonomous mobile robots for warehouses, manufacturing, and logistics hubs. Backed by ARAPL’s proprietary i-ware controller, it leverages AI, navigation, and swarm robotics for scalable automation. 

 To support global expansion, ARAPL plans to invest US$ 8–10 million into Humro, including US$ 3 million from Padole personally. Despite a planned 10 per cent price revision in December 2025 due to new US tariffs, Humro’s products remain 15–20 per cent more cost-effective than peers.
