Arrow Electronics Opens Engineering Solutions Centre in Bengaluru
Arrow Electronics has launched a new Engineering Solutions Centre (ESC) in Bengaluru to drive innovation and strengthen engineering capabilities across India, Southeast Asia, South Korea, and Japan. The centre will support the development of next-generation technologies including AIoT, edge computing, intelligent sensing, and energy management—particularly in the industrial, automotive, aerospace, and defence sectors.
The ESC is designed to assist technology manufacturers and innovators in adopting advanced technologies more efficiently by providing deep engineering support and access to Arrow’s global ecosystem. The facility offers expertise across the entire product development lifecycle, from component engineering and system-level reviews to tailored reference design solutions that help reduce time-to-market.
“Across the region, innovators often struggle with limited in-house engineering capabilities,” said Dr Raphael Salmi, President of Arrow’s components business for South Asia, Korea, and Japan. “Arrow bridges the gap between innovation and execution through global resources and local expertise.”
Staffed with skilled application engineers, the centre offers guidance on component selection, system-level design validation, bill-of-materials (BOM) optimisation, and embedded solutions. It also provides access to software libraries, training resources, and supply chain services to accelerate prototyping and commercialisation.
The initiative comes as India and Southeast Asia emerge as critical technology manufacturing hubs, driven by supply chain diversification and favourable policy frameworks.
