AXISCADES Wins Indian Army Order for Counter-Drone Systems

AXISCADES Technologies, a leader in Aerospace, Defence, Electronics, Semiconductor and Artificial Intelligence (ESAI), has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, AXISCADES Aerospace & Technologies Private Limited, has secured a significant order from the Indian Army for Man Portable Counter Drone Systems (MPCDS).

This order marks one of the first man-portable counter-drone procurements following Operation Sindhoor under the emergency procurement route, positioning AXISCADES at the forefront of indigenous defence technology.

The MPCDS can detect hostile drones up to 5 km away and disrupt signals across a wide frequency spectrum, providing ground forces with dependable protection against unmanned aerial threats. Despite its advanced capabilities, the system is lightweight and portable, allowing soldiers to carry and deploy it efficiently in field operations.

Sharadhi Chandra Babu, President – Defence, AXISCADES Technologies, said: “This order reflects the Indian Army’s trust in AXISCADES to deliver next-generation indigenous counter-drone technologies. We are committed to supporting India’s defence forces with advanced, mission-ready, made-in-India solutions that strengthen operational readiness and self-reliance.”
