Bluebeam Launches AI-Powered Max Subscription Globally

Bluebeam, part of the Nemetschek Group and a provider of solutions for architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) professionals, has launched Bluebeam Max globally, introducing a premium subscription with AI-powered automation and intelligent review capabilities.

First introduced at the company’s Unbound 2025 conference and tested through a beta programme, Bluebeam Max expands the capabilities of Bluebeam Revu through tools designed to automate repetitive work, improve collaboration and identify project risks earlier.

Usman Shuja, CEO, Bluebeam, said, “AI is ushering in a new era for the built environment – one where complexity becomes manageable and data becomes actionable. Bluebeam Max is designed to help every user operate like a superuser – embedding intelligence into familiar workflows while seamlessly bridging PDFs and BIM. The result is a more connected, more productive project experience, where teams can focus less on managing information and more on delivering outcomes.”

The new subscription includes Revu + Anthropic Claude via MCP for natural-language task automation, Stitching for combining multiple drawing sheets, Magic Markups to automate repetitive annotations, Smart Overlay to compare design revisions, and Smart Review to identify design discrepancies and scope gaps. The platform also introduces Connected Studio Sessions with Revit, linking Bluebeam markups directly to BIM environments.

According to Bluebeam, more than 2,000 beta users tested the platform, reporting productivity improvements across design and construction workflows.

Martin-Harris Construction, a US-based construction management company, used Smart Overlay and Smart Review to streamline revision comparisons and project analysis.

James Miranda, Director of Preconstruction, Martin-Harris Construction, said, “Bluebeam is already the backbone of how we review and collaborate on projects, but Bluebeam Max takes that to another level.”

The platform is now available globally through Bluebeam’s webstore and subscription channels.
