CivilGEO Software Wins G2 Recognition Again
CivilGEO has announced that its flagship products, GeoHECRAS, GeoSTORM and GeoHECHMS, have been ranked among the top civil engineering design software products in G2’s 2026 Best Software Awards. This marks the third consecutive year that the company has received this recognition.
In the G2 rankings, GeoHECRAS secured first position, GeoSTORM ranked second and GeoHECHMS placed third in the civil engineering design software category. The rankings are based on verified user reviews, customer satisfaction scores and market presence data. G2’s annual awards recognise fewer than 1 per cent of over 175,000 listed software products.
CivilGEO said the recognition reflects feedback from practising civil engineers using its software for hydraulic modelling, hydrologic analysis, stormwater design, floodplain mapping, bridge and culvert hydraulic analysis, and regulatory-ready engineering reports.
GeoSTORM supports stormwater drainage network design within CAD- and GIS-based environments, offering pipe network design tools, automated reporting templates, scenario management and hydrology computations. GeoHECRAS is used for floodplain mapping, bridge and culvert analysis, river system modelling and HEC-RAS workflows. GeoHECHMS automates watershed delineation, rainfall-runoff computations, detention and retention pond design, and report generation.
CivilGEO said its development approach focuses on engineering-first design, automation, CAD and GIS interoperability, and regular product updates based on user feedback and industry requirements.
