CP PLUS partners with L&T Semiconductor to produce 9 million AI-powered CCTV cameras

CP PLUS, India’s leading security and surveillance brand from Aditya Infotech Ltd (AIL), has announced a landmark partnership with L&T Semiconductor Technologies (LTSCT), a wholly owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro. Under the agreement, CP PLUS will manufacture nine million CCTV IP cameras over the next three years, powered by LTSCT’s indigenously designed Vision System-on-Chip (SoC) technology.

The collaboration marks a major stride toward India’s self-reliance in semiconductor innovation. The India-designed SoCs support up to eight-megapixel high-resolution imaging for superior clarity in critical surveillance applications. Equipped with advanced cryptographic architecture, the chips ensure robust data protection and enhanced cybersecurity.

Aditya Khemka, Managing Director, Aditya Infotech Ltd, said, “This partnership is a milestone in our mission to deliver world-class security solutions built on Indian innovation. By integrating LTSCT’s advanced SoC technology, we are creating smarter and more secure surveillance systems while strengthening India’s semiconductor ecosystem.”

Sandeep Kumar, Chief Executive, L&T Semiconductor Technologies Ltd, added, “Our collaboration with CP PLUS reflects India’s growing semiconductor capability. Together, we are setting new benchmarks in AI-powered surveillance, building trusted, future-ready technology for India and the world.”

This strategic partnership combines CP PLUS’s leadership in security systems with LTSCT’s semiconductor design expertise, reinforcing India’s position in the global semiconductor and surveillance supply chain while reducing reliance on imported chipsets and boosting domestic innovation and employment.
