Kaizen AI Discusses Real Estate AI Adoption Across Projects

Real estate developers, architects and technology firms discussed the growing implementation of artificial intelligence across active projects in India, Dubai and the United States during a media interaction held in Mumbai this week.

The discussion focused on how AI-driven systems are increasingly being used in live real estate projects to evaluate planning, parking, efficiency, cost and constructability at a scale beyond conventional workflows.

Kaizen AI, which has worked on more than 200 projects globally, showcased how AI-led optimisation systems are being integrated into developments across India, the Middle East and the US. According to the company, the technology enables developers to assess hundreds of thousands of design possibilities during project planning and execution.

Jay Shah, Founder, Kaizen AI, said the conversation around AI in real estate has shifted from theoretical possibilities to real-world implementation on projects currently under construction.

Harshvardhan Tibrewala, Managing Director, Vida Realty, said AI-driven optimisation allows developers to rethink both project economics and customer experience through larger-scale evaluation of design and planning possibilities.

Nimisha Tambe, Senior AGM – Architecture, Prestige Group, said AI-based planning and optimisation can help developers improve project efficiency and address challenges related to rising construction costs and execution timelines.

The session also highlighted the growing role of architecture in an AI-led design environment. AXS Design, an architecture platform collaborating with global design talent, presented residential developments under construction in Mumbai in partnership with Vida Realty.

Yann Leroy, Design Director, AXS Design, said differentiated architectural thinking becomes increasingly important as optimisation processes become more automated through AI systems.
