Specialty chemicals company LANXESS is showcasing its latest sustainable solutions for the lubricants and fuels industry at the 3rd Rosefield Conference for Lubricants and Fuels, being held from November 12–13, 2025, at NESCO, Goregaon, Mumbai.
Exhibiting at Booth 31, Hall C (Grande Banquet), LANXESS is presenting innovations from its Lubricant Additives Business (LAB), offering visitors an opportunity to explore its diverse product portfolio and interact with technical experts.
A key highlight is the new sustainable variant of the lubricant additive Additin RC 2515, which achieves a 34% reduction in Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) compared to the conventional version. Over 80% of its raw materials are sourced sustainably and ISCC PLUS certified. The additive also carries the LANXESS Scopeblue label, which identifies products made from at least 50% recycled or bio-based raw materials with a significantly lower carbon footprint. This launch marks another step in expanding LANXESS’ portfolio of certified, sustainable products that meet the industry’s growing demand for climate-friendly solutions.
LANXESS offers a comprehensive range of additives, additive systems, synthetic base fluids, and ready-to-use lubricants used across industries such as automotive, mechanical engineering, metal processing, shipbuilding, and aviation. These solutions are engineered to reduce friction, minimize wear, prevent corrosion, and enhance the operational life of machinery and equipment.
“At LANXESS, our focus is on developing advanced additive technologies that make lubricants and fuels more reliable and sustainable,” said Ganesh Khole, Associate GM – Head of Sales and New Business Development, Business Unit Lubricant Additives, LANXESS India. “We are committed to supporting our customers in manufacturing products that are both efficient and climate-friendly,” he added.
