Paras Defence Wins Rs 360M MoD Order for Counter-Drone Systems

Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd., a key player in defence and space engineering, has secured a major domestic order worth Rs 356.8 million (including GST) from the Ministry of Defence for the supply of Portable Counter-Drone Systems (PCDS). Scheduled for completion by May 2026, the order marks a significant milestone as India’s defence ecosystem accelerates the adoption of advanced counter-UAV technologies.

In addition, Paras Anti-Drone Technologies Pvt. Ltd., the company’s subsidiary, received a separate order valued at Rs 39.5 million (including GST) from the Ministry of Defence for Radio Frequency (RF) Jammers, which include integrated drone detection and jamming capabilities.

The back-to-back order wins reinforce the Ministry’s confidence in the company’s ability to deliver high-performance, indigenous defence technologies at scale. They also strengthen Paras Defence’s position in next-generation defence solutions, aligning with the Government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat vision and supporting India’s self-reliance in critical security infrastructure.

Ashutosh Baheti, CEO of Paras Anti-Drone Technologies, said the orders reflect the Ministry’s growing trust. “Securing our second and third engagements with the Ministry of Defence within just two months highlights confidence in our capabilities. With drone technologies evolving rapidly, dependable counter-drone systems are crucial for national security. We remain committed to delivering robust, Made-in-India solutions that support the armed forces and advance the nation’s security framework,” he said.

As drone-related threats escalate—from reconnaissance and smuggling to potential airspace breaches—the urgency for indigenous, technologically sophisticated counter-drone systems has intensified. Paras Defence, along with its subsidiary, has been developing advanced Counter-UAV systems capable of detecting, classifying, tracking and neutralising hostile drones in real time. These capabilities have positioned the group as a trusted partner in India’s expanding ecosystem of electronic warfare, RF and microwave technologies, ISR solutions and anti-drone systems.
