RDash, a construction technology company providing AI-powered project management tools, has recently signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the RICS School of Built Environment to integrate digital and AI-based construction management into academic learning.

Under the agreement, students across RICS-affiliated institutions in India will receive free access to RDash's construction management platform. The initiative will also include orientation sessions, annual workshops, case study projects and a Guide to Construction Basics. The non-commercial programme is expected to reach at least 1,000 students annually and more than 3,000 students during the three-year term.

The partnership aims to provide students with practical exposure to digital and AI-based construction management before entering the workforce. It will cover areas including planning, project execution, monitoring, cost management and decision-making based on workflows used in construction projects.

The initiative is intended to address the gap between classroom learning and digital construction workflows encountered by graduates after joining the industry. It is RDash's second academic partnership in 2026, following an earlier collaboration with NICMAR University, Hyderabad.

The programme is expected to cover RICS School of Built Environment-affiliated colleges and include more than 30 orientation sessions and workshops over three years. Students will also participate in an annual live-project case study involving data from real-world construction projects.

According to the companies, more than 3,000 students are expected to gain experience with digital project workflows during the programme. The initiative is also expected to reduce basic tool training requirements for newly hired graduates from around three months to approximately four weeks.
