Tech Data-NVIDIA Deal to Boost India’s AI Infrastructure

India’s artificial intelligence infrastructure is set for a major expansion as Tech Data partners with global computing leader NVIDIA. The collaboration will offer cutting-edge data centre and generative AI solutions to accelerate the country’s digital transformation.

The initiative provides Indian enterprises access to NVIDIA’s high-performance computing tools, including CUDA-X libraries and AI microservices, to simplify integration and boost intelligent platform development. The partnership aims to close key gaps in the AI value chain, enabling scalable, sustainable systems for industries from healthcare and banking to smart governance.

Supported by a nationwide network of hardware, software, and integration partners, the initiative will drive enterprise AI adoption while also aiding public sector digitisation. NVIDIA’s microservices will allow developers to deploy AI applications efficiently, reducing the need for infrastructure overhauls.

Part of Tech Data’s global “Destination AI” programme, the deal aligns with India’s broader green digital goals. The use of next-generation GPU-powered data centres will also contribute to reduced energy consumption.

Though not a government-led project, the collaboration supports Digital India ambitions and strengthens India’s position in global AI innovation. The focus now shifts to turning infrastructure access into meaningful impact for businesses and communities.
