A sustainable and beautiful India: New mantra of Zydex

The Indian government has set a goal to become a developed country by 2047. Seepage and Leakage
Zydex has introduced deep penetrative water resistant membrane (2-4 mm deep) like layer in cementitious plaster, concrete, pavement etc., followed with long lasting siliconised acrylic membranes to offer up to a 15 year warranty. White or custom colours offer a cooling and aesthetic effect.

Cracks in plaster, cold joint, screed, pavements, flooring
The company has innovated a range of products based on reactive soft polymer to bond cold concrete joints with hot poured concrete or plaster joints and ensure a flexible, reactive membrane at the cold joint to reduce cold joint cracks formation by 90 to 95 percent. Other than settlement cracks, most expansion contraction cycles do not induce cold joint crack formation.

New generation of polymer additive have been designed for addition to the plaster composition, mortar for bonding cement blocks, in reinforced screeds for the roof top, flooring and pavements. This technology improves the flexibility, reduces water consumption and improves cohesiveness to ensure very low droppings of plaster mortar during construction activity. Lower droppings and extended workability has increased labour efficiency by 30 to 50 percent to reduce the final cost of plastering by almost `10 per square meter after cost of polymer additive has been accounted for. The additive has also ensured substantially lower or zero crack formation in internal and external plastering, including the south west walls.

Durable Silicate Mineral Paints
The company has innovated next generation ultra-durable silicate mineral paints in the decorative paints market for external and internal walls. These paints are designed for various performance standards in terms of durability and resistance to mildew and fungal resistance. Its ceramic nature allows it to excel in UV resistance, breathability, non-fading and peel-off resistance due to chemical bonding with the substrate. Their eco-friendly ultra low VOC properties ensure the rooms are odour-free and can be occupied within 30 minutes of painting. Low organic content puts it in the highest category of fire resistance making it ideal for high population density buildings.

For the repainting market, the company offers a penetrative silane acrylic copolymer technology which makes building micro cracks completely waterproof, followed with two coats of the new ultradurable silicate mineral paints for a look that is better than the original building which they had occupied.
