Adani Group Invests Rs 100 billion in Telangana, Creates 7,000+ Jobs
A major component of this investment cycle includes a proposed Rs 25 billion green data-centre with a capacity of 48 MW, signalling a significant push towards sustainable digital infrastructure. Adani’s cement operations have also scaled up with plants at Ganeshpahad, Tandur and Devapur, offering a combined capacity of 7 million tonnes per annum and supporting the state’s construction ecosystem.
The Group has further invested around Rs 40 billion in strengthening regional road networks, developing over 100 km of highways that enhance connectivity across districts such as Mancherial, Suryapet, Kodad and Khammam. This is expected to spur logistics efficiency and economic activity.
In aerospace and defence, Adani has established a dedicated defence park in Hyderabad, which includes what it describes as India’s first unmanned aerial vehicle manufacturing facility for long-endurance UAVs, serving both domestic defence forces and international markets.
Together, these investments reflect Telangana’s emergence as a key hub for advanced manufacturing, digital infrastructure and modern industrial growth.
