The Technical Advisory Committee of the Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela Authority (NTKMA) recommended a comprehensive sanitation and solid waste management roadmap for Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2027 after a meeting at NTKMA headquarters. The meeting was chaired by NTKMA Commissioner Shekhar Singh and included representatives from UNICEF, the WASH Institute, IIT Bombay and the World Bank. The committee outlined measures to ensure a clean, sustainable and pilgrim friendly event.
