Ampin to Establish 246 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid Project with Rs 13 Bn Investment

Ampin, a renewable energy company, has unveiled plans to develop a 246 MW wind-solar hybrid project with an investment of Rs 13 billion. This initiative underscores Ampin's commitment to expanding its renewable energy portfolio and contributing to India's sustainable energy goals.

The hybrid project will integrate both wind and solar energy generation capabilities, leveraging synergies between the two renewable sources to enhance energy output efficiency. This approach aligns with global trends towards hybrid energy solutions that optimise resource utilisation and enhance grid stability.

According to Ampin's CEO and MD, the project aims to capitalise on India's favourable renewable energy landscape and support the country's ambitious renewable energy targets. The investment will fund the development of infrastructure, including wind turbines, solar panels, and associated transmission facilities.

The project is expected to create employment opportunities during the construction phase and contribute to local economic development. It will also play a crucial role in reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable energy practices in the region.

As Ampin progresses with the implementation of the hybrid project, stakeholders and environmental advocates anticipate positive impacts on energy security and environmental sustainability. The initiative highlights the company's strategic focus on renewable energy expansion and its role in advancing India's clean energy transition.
