Ample Parks Unveils Rs 8 Billion Logistics Hub at MWC Chennai

Ample Parks, the joint venture between Actis and Mahindra Lifespaces, has launched its first industrial and logistics estate at Mahindra World City (MWC) in Chennai. With a capital outlay of about Rs 8 billion, the development is the largest Grade A industrial site within MWC’s Domestic Tariff Area.

Spread across 71 acres near the Oragadam–Maraimalai Nagar industrial corridor, the park provides roughly 2.1 million sq ft of leasable space tailored to engineering, automotive and allied sectors, including electronics and white goods. Chief Executive Akash Rastogi said half a million square feet is immediately available. He expects annual revenue of around Rs 1.1 billion on completion and Rs 14 billion over the first decade, while creating employment for nearly 11,000 people.

Buoyed by Tamil Nadu’s industrial growth, Ample Parks plans a second Chennai project within three months and is eyeing sites in Hosur. Nationally, it aims to expand its land bank tenfold in five to seven years, targeting tier one cities such as Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Ahmedabad, Pune and Kolkata, alongside emerging hubs like Lucknow, Jaipur, Guwahati and Nagpur.
