Ashoka Buildcon Wins Angola Electricity Sector Contract

Ashoka Buildcon Limited has received a Letter of Contract Acceptance from the Ministry of Energy and Water of the Republic of Angola for the project titled Electricity Sector Improvement and Access Project. The accepted bid cost is United States dollar (USD) 72.36 million (mn) and the award reflects the company securing a significant international engineering and construction assignment. The company stated that the contract award follows submission and evaluation of its competitive bid to the Angolan authority and aligns with its overseas project portfolio.

The contract requires design, supply, installation and commissioning of the rehabilitation of distribution networks for Lot five Luanda City two in the Republic of Angola and covers refurbishment and system upgrades across designated urban feeders. The assignment is international in nature and will be managed through the company's project execution teams with technical and logistical planning to meet quality and safety standards. The period for completion is set at 24 months from mobilisation.

The company noted that the trading window for designated persons and their immediate relatives is closed until 48 hours after the declaration of financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026 and that the measures are intended to ensure compliance with insider trading norms. The disclosure has been made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015 and in accordance with the master circular cited in the filing. The company indicated that the promoter, promoter group and group companies have no interest in the awarding authority and that the contract does not fall within related party transactions.
