Atlas Copco Launches XAS 58, XAS 78 Portable Compressors

Atlas Copco recently unveiled its XAS 58 and XAS 78 small air portable compressors, designed for construction and industrial applications operating in space-constrained and demanding environments. The new range addresses the growing need for compact, mobile and fuel-efficient compressed air solutions across modern job sites.

Engineered to power pneumatic handheld tools, sandblasting equipment and other industrial applications, the compressors combine a compact footprint with reliable performance. Their design supports productivity in remote and harsh conditions where portability and durability are critical.

Key features include high mobility with a lightweight design under 750 kg, making the units towable by regular vehicles. The compressors feature a shock-resistant HardHat® canopy with a reinforced, anti-corrosive metal frame, ensuring durability in tough environments. Service-friendly access and intuitive controls help reduce downtime, while improved fuel efficiency of up to 12 per cent lowers overall operating and transport costs.

The XAS 58 and XAS 78 are suited for a wide range of applications including pneumatic tools, cable blowing and abrasive blasting, supporting consistent performance across varied operating conditions.
