Auto Dispatches Rise Sharply in November: SIAM

Passenger vehicle dispatches from manufacturers to dealers rose 19 per cent year on year in November, reflecting sustained demand after the festive season, industry body Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers said on Friday.

Total passenger vehicle dispatches stood at 412,405 units during the month, marking an increase of 18.7 per cent compared with 347,522 units in November last year. The growth highlights continued consumer interest across segments despite broader economic uncertainties.

Two-wheeler dispatches also recorded strong momentum, rising 21 per cent year on year to 1,944,475 units in November, compared with 1,604,749 units in the corresponding month of the previous year, SIAM said in a statement.
