VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) recently announced the appointment of B Srinivas as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 April 2026.

Srinivas brings more than three decades of experience with Eicher, where he has handled a wide range of responsibilities across strategy, sales, marketing and operations. He has served as Chief Operating Officer of VECV since 2024, and earlier led product strategy and purchasing between 2022 and 2024. From 2018 to 2022, he headed the Eicher Bus business, playing a key role in strengthening the company’s presence in the segment.

As part of the leadership transition, Vinod Aggarwal will assume the role of Chairman of the Board at VECV from 1 April 2026 as the nominee of Eicher Motors. Aggarwal, who has led VECV for nearly two decades as CEO and later Managing Director, will succeed Sofia Frändberg, who completes her three-year term as Chairperson and will continue to serve on the Board.

Additionally, Rajinder Singh Sachdeva, former Deputy CEO and Chief Transformation Officer of VECV, has been nominated to the Board as a nominee of Eicher Motors, replacing Raul Rai, who steps down as Director.

The leadership changes mark a new phase for the Volvo–Eicher joint venture as it continues to expand its footprint in the commercial vehicle market.
