Bajel Projects Signs JV With Al Sharif for Saudi EPC

On 17 February 2026 Bajel Projects Limited, hereafter Bajel Projects, announced a joint venture agreement with Al Sharif Contracting and Commercial Development Company (ASC) based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The announcement confirmed that the partnership will establish an entity to undertake engineering procurement and construction work in Saudi Arabia. The statement noted that ASC is part of Al Sharif Group Holdings and is a leading engineering procurement and construction contractor and manufacturer.

The joint venture will be structured as an equal partnership between Bajel Projects and ASC and will focus on power transmission and broader infrastructure projects within the Saudi market. The arrangement will enable the parties to combine local market access and regional experience with Bajel Projects' expertise in transmission systems. The partners intend to pursue contracts across government and private sector programmes linked to the Kingdom's infrastructure transformation.

Company executives indicated that the JV advances Bajel Projects' international expansion strategy and positions the group to participate in the significant pipeline of opportunities arising from national development plans. The partnership is expected to leverage ASC's manufacturing capabilities and local supply chain relationships while deploying Bajel Projects' project management and engineering skills. The collaboration aims to offer integrated EPC solutions tailored to the technical and regulatory environment in Saudi Arabia.

The arrangement is likely to support operational scale up for both firms by aligning resources for project execution and by opening access to new procurement channels. Bajel Projects is part of the Bajaj Group and will operate with a governance framework agreed by both partners to deliver projects efficiently and compliantly. The companies will proceed with customary regulatory clearances and commercial finalisation before commencing major contract mobilisation.
