The Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 will bring policymakers, regulators and industry leaders together from 19 to 22 March 2026 at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi. The four day programme is expected to feature more than 100 conference sessions, more than 300 speakers, more than 500 exhibitors, representatives from more than 80 countries and over 25,000 visitors. The summit is described as a flagship global platform for dialogue, collaboration and innovation across the electricity and clean energy ecosystem.

Senior central government ministers, state ministers and secretaries, along with international energy ministers and CEOs of major utilities and power enterprises, are scheduled to attend. Participation confirmed includes delegates from more than 25 states and union territories and ambassadors and representatives from around 60 countries, reflecting growing global interest in India's energy transition. The event will include dedicated areas for startups, innovation and emerging technologies and will host sectoral CEO forums, international ministerial dialogues and specialised conferences on stationary energy storage, Industry 4.0 in transmission, hydropower development and carbon markets. Structured buyer-seller meets and international procurement engagements are expected to facilitate direct linkages between global buyers and Indian manufacturers.

Investment opportunities are estimated at over Rs 50 trillion (tn) to 2032 in generation, transmission, distribution and energy storage and the summit intends to catalyse investment, technology partnerships and supply chain resilience. Sessions will also address ways to expand inclusive energy access, modernise grid infrastructure and develop the workforce needed to support the evolving sector.
