Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 Showcases Rs 50 Trillion Opportunity
Senior central government ministers, state ministers and secretaries, along with international energy ministers and CEOs of major utilities and power enterprises, are scheduled to attend. Participation confirmed includes delegates from more than 25 states and union territories and ambassadors and representatives from around 60 countries, reflecting growing global interest in India's energy transition. Investment opportunities are estimated at over Rs 50 trillion (tn) to 2032 in generation, transmission, distribution and energy storage and the summit intends to catalyse investment, technology partnerships and supply chain resilience. Sessions will also address ways to expand inclusive energy access, modernise grid infrastructure and develop the workforce needed to support the evolving sector.
