Bhavnagar Municipal invites bids for sewage treatment plant upgradation

Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation has issued a tender for upgrading the existing sewage treatment plant (STP) in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. 

The contract involves upgrading the Kumbharwada STP from 30 MLD to 45 MLD capacity using the Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) process. The scope includes engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPC) of all mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems, along with miscellaneous works. Additionally, the successful bidder will operate and maintain the entire facility for five years, covering the defect liability period. 

The cost is estimated at Rs 803.1 billion, with a completion timeline of 30 months. Bid submission is due by 20 February, 2025.
