BLive EZY Expands To Kolkata With Rs 25 Million EV Fleet Plan

E-mobility platform BLive EZY has commenced operations in Kolkata and plans to deploy 5,000 electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers over the next three years, the company announced in a statement.

Operating on a franchise-based model, BLive EZY enables entrepreneurs and individuals to own a fleet of electric vehicles and deploy them with leading e-commerce and quick commerce platforms such as Zomato, Zepto, Blinkit, and Swiggy.

According to the company, franchisees can invest Rs 2.5 million (Rs 25 lakh) to own a fleet of electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers and earn monthly rental income by leasing them to these delivery platforms.

BLive will oversee end-to-end operations, including vehicle deployment, maintenance, and rider management. The company highlighted that while Kolkata is one of India’s fastest-growing e-commerce markets, electric vehicle penetration remains low at just two per cent for delivery services.

Currently, BLive EZY operates in Bangalore, Chennai, and Goa, with more than 3,000 EVs deployed and over 50 active franchisees. The company is now expanding further into Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi, which together account for 70 per cent of India’s e-commerce and quick commerce demand.

For vehicle sourcing, BLive EZY has partnered with leading electric mobility brands including TVS, Ampere, and Kinetic, ensuring a reliable and scalable supply for its growing network.
