BluPine Strengthens Rajasthan C&I Portfolio With New PPAs

BluPine Energy, a renewable energy platform established in India by Actis, has executed long-term power purchase agreements with KEI Industries Limited, Craftsman Automation Limited and Sunbeam Lightweighting Solutions Private Limited in Rajasthan. Construction has commenced on the projects and commissioning is planned in line with project timelines. The agreements form part of the company's strategy to provide reliable and cost-effective renewable energy solutions to India's industrial sector.

The company said it is in advanced stages of executing further PPAs for an additional 60-70 megawatt (MW) of commercial and industrial capacity in the state, with multiple customer partnerships expected to be announced in the coming months. These projects will contribute to building a 150 megawatt (MW) commercial and industrial portfolio in Rajasthan and offer customised captive and open access renewable energy solutions. The company indicated that the pipeline remains healthy and will span diverse industry sectors.

BluPine Energy already maintains a strong presence in Rajasthan, with a renewable portfolio comprising nearly 1,000 megawatt (MW) of solar capacity and 300 megawatt-hour (MWh) of battery energy storage systems, underscoring the state's strategic importance in the company's growth. The projects are intended to enable partner companies to meet a significant share of their electricity requirements through renewable energy, thereby reducing carbon emissions while providing long-term energy cost stability and enhancing energy security. Rajasthan's renewable resource potential and policy support remain key factors attracting industrial consumers.

The expanding commercial and industrial business will serve customers across manufacturing, automotive, engineering, electrical equipment and consumer goods sectors, with offerings spanning captive, group captive and open access models. The company noted that tailored renewable solutions help businesses advance sustainability and operational resilience while managing long-term energy costs. Management said it remains committed to delivering scalable and commercially attractive clean energy solutions that contribute to India's energy transition and net-zero ambitions.
