Bondada Engineering Signs MoU With Bryanston Renewables
The MoU sets out joint development and deployment pathways for data centre solutions intended to align with Bharat’s accelerating digital infrastructure growth. These offerings are aimed at data centre operators and institutional investors seeking low-carbon capacity and future-ready deployments. The companies intend to integrate renewable generation, storage and engineering services to deliver end-to-end offerings.
Dr Bondada Raghavendra Rao, Chairman and Managing Director of the Bondada Group, said the company views Bharat’s digital economy expansion as creating a pressing need for energy-efficient and future-ready data centre infrastructure and that BEL will leverage strengths across renewable energy, telecom infrastructure and engineering capabilities. He added the partnership is expected to deliver green-powered data centre solutions that support sustainability and the national energy transition. The initiative was described as a strategic response to rising data consumption, cloud adoption and the push for domestic data storage capacity.
Rear Admiral R Sreenivas, VSM (Retd), Chief Executive Officer of the Bondada Group, characterised the alliance as a milestone in the group’s contribution to Bharat’s digital and energy transition and said combining renewable energy with next generation digital infrastructure will support national priorities. He indicated the collaboration is intended to strengthen digital resilience and create long-term value for communities and stakeholders. With a footprint across infrastructure, telecom networking, solar energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and data centre capabilities, BEL is poised to accelerate development and execution of green-powered data centre projects under the MoU and to reinforce its strategic entry into the digital infrastructure segment.
