Bosch Targets 2–5 Per Cent Sales Growth in 2026

The Bosch Group has outlined a cautious but growth-focused outlook for 2026, targeting sales growth of 2–5 per cent and an EBIT margin from operations of 4–6 per cent despite geopolitical tensions, trade barriers and continued price pressure.

In 2025, Bosch invested around 12 billion euros in research, development and capital expenditure, underlining its continued focus on automation, digitalisation, electrification and artificial intelligence. The company reported sales revenue of 91.0 billion euros in 2025, up from 90.3 billion euros in 2024. After adjusting for exchange-rate effects, this represented growth of 4.1 per cent.

Its EBIT margin from operations stood at 2 per cent, down from 3.5 per cent in 2024, mainly due to provisions of 2.7 billion euros linked to structural and personnel adjustments. Bosch said these measures are intended to strengthen competitiveness and support its long-term Strategy 2030 goals.

The company also highlighted strong potential in sensor technology, automotive software, electromobility, AI-led appliances and digital services as key growth drivers for the coming years. Bosch registered around 6,300 patents in 2025, remaining Germany’s leading patent applicant.
