Bridgestone India Honours Idol Maker Rajan Patkar

Bridgestone India has launched a special video campaign on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, celebrating the craftsmanship of renowned idol maker Rajan Patkar. His eco-friendly clay idol adorns the iconic Girgaoncha Raja festivities, one of Mumbai’s oldest Sarvajanik Ganesh Mandals, established in 1928.

The video pays tribute to Patkar’s artistry and dedication while highlighting Bridgestone’s strong cultural connect in India, where it has been present for nearly three decades. Rooted in the Bridgestone E8 Commitment, particularly the value of Emotions, the campaign reflects the company’s aim to inspire excitement, spread joy, and celebrate the spirit of mobility in sync with Indian traditions.

Conceptualised by Schbang, the narrative draws a parallel between Patkar’s devotion and Bridgestone’s own commitment to research, innovation, and delivering superior quality products to enhance customer experiences. The visuals showcase the festive fervour of Ganesh Chaturthi interwoven with the sculptor’s artistry, symbolising Bridgestone’s philosophy of “Serving Society with Superior Quality.”

Through this initiative, Bridgestone India salutes a virtuoso craftsman while reaffirming its deep cultural ties and customer connect in the country.
