Brigade Group Signs Lease With HealthEdge At Brigade Square

Brigade Group has signed a lease with HealthEdge, a US-headquartered healthcare technology company backed by Bain Capital, for a super built-up area of approximately 0.162 million (mn) square feet across 11 floors of Brigade Square in Thiruvananthapuram. The company will occupy space in the developer's first IT office building in the city. The lease reflects HealthEdge's expansion of its operations in India and a continuing trend of global healthcare firms locating technology functions in southern India.

HealthEdge offers AI-powered software and technology-enabled services that aim to modernise healthcare administration, including claims administration, payment accuracy, provider network management, care management and risk adjustment. The platform is presented as an integrated solution to enable health plans to use automation and artificial intelligence in pursuit of more efficient and cost effective operations. The company has positioned its products to help health plans reduce administrative overhead while improving member experience. The move will support the company's delivery of technology driven services to its clients.

Brigade Square, located in Technopark phase one, is a 0.2 mn square feet IT office building designed to support the evolving requirements of technology driven businesses. The development aims to cater to companies seeking modern office infrastructure and connectivity within a major technology park. The scheme includes amenities aimed at supporting hybrid work models and tenant requirements. Brigade Group described the agreement as an important milestone in its expansion in Thiruvananthapuram.

The transaction reinforces Thiruvananthapuram's appeal as a destination for global technology and healthcare companies and underlines the city's growing profile in the national technology landscape. The lease complements a broader trend of multinational firms establishing engineering and technology operations in established IT clusters across India. The company and developer did not involve Business Standard journalists in the creation of the release.
