Century Plyboards Reports Rs 4.53 Billion Profit in FY25

Century Plyboards (India) Ltd has announced its financial results for the year ending March 31, 2025. On a standalone basis, net revenue stood at Rs 40.68 billion, reflecting an 8.2 per cent rise over the previous year. Consolidated revenue reached Rs 45.28 billion, up 16.5 per cent. 
Earnings before depreciation, interest, and tax stood at Rs 5.24 billion, while profit after tax (PAT) was reported at Rs 2.85 billion, representing seven per cent of total revenue. 
For the fourth quarter, standalone revenue grew 2.3 per cent year-on-year to Rs 10.49 billion, and consolidated revenue increased 13.0 per cent to Rs 11.98 billion. The company recorded an EBITDA margin of 13.6 per cent in Q4, up from 11.5 per cent in Q3, due to higher volume and reduced overheads. 
The plywood segment posted a 9.8 per cent year-on-year rise in revenue with an EBITDA margin of 15.4 per cent. Medium-density fibreboard (MDF) revenue rose 37.47 per cent year-on-year, with an EBITDA margin of 13.2 per cent. The Badvel plant also became EBITDA-positive in Q4.
