CIMCON Automation Expands Eastern India Presence With Kolkata Office

CIMCON Automation has expanded its presence in Eastern India with the launch of a new office in Salt Lake City, Kolkata. The expansion aims to strengthen local project execution, improve regional coordination, and accelerate tender responsiveness across Eastern and Northeastern India, while reinforcing the company’s focus on smart utilities, infrastructure, defence, and industrial automation.

The Kolkata hub will serve as a regional base for CIMCON’s operations in the eastern and northeastern states. The new facility is expected to enable faster project implementation, reduce deployment timelines, and streamline coordination for projects across multiple locations.

Commenting on the expansion, Anil Agrawal, Founder and CEO, CIMCON Automation, said that Eastern India is witnessing a significant phase of infrastructure modernisation, particularly in water and lighting utilities. He noted that the new office reflects the company’s commitment to working closely with stakeholders to accelerate project execution and support the development of resilient infrastructure in the region.

The office will also support phased workforce expansion aligned with the company’s growing project pipeline in the region. CIMCON expects this to enhance engagement with state authorities and private sector partners while strengthening long-term support for utilities transformation initiatives.

CIMCON already has a strong operational presence in West Bengal and other eastern states, working with government agencies, municipal corporations, and private sector organisations. The company has executed projects across Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Assam, and Meghalaya in collaboration with organisations such as the Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI), Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Water Resources Department (WRD), and the Military Engineer Services of the Indian Air Force.
