Citroen partners CAB-EEZ Infra Tech for 2,000 e-C3 EVs

French carmaker Citroen announced that it would be providing 2,000 units of its electric vehicle e-C3 to urban e-mobility player CAB-EEZ Infra Tech over the course of the year. According to Citroen India, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the two companies, and the first 100 units of e-C3 were inaugurated.

This expands the existing fleet of Cab-E with an additional 200 e-C3 units, bringing the total to over 300 units in operation across Mumbai and Pune.

Shishir Mishra, Citroen India Brand Director, remarked, "Cab-E has demonstrated early interest in the e-C3. Their sustained preference for this product confirms Citroen's role as a significant advocate for sustainable transportation solutions."

Kuldip Ghosh, Director & CEO of Cab-E, expressed, "This collaboration benefits all parties involved and advances Cab-E's position as a frontrunner in the electric urban mobility sector."

According to the company, the Citroen e-C3 boasts a range of 320 kilometres (ARAI-certified) on a single charge and can be nearly fully charged in less than an hour.
