Access to the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar is set to become significantly smoother, with extensive road, rail, and bus connectivity being developed to link it with Delhi-NCR, Agra, Aligarh, Mathura, Meerut, and Haryana.

The multi-modal transport network aims to ensure fast, safe, and sustainable access for passengers, tourists, and industries, positioning the airport as a key regional and national aviation hub.

The airport enjoys direct connectivity with the Yamuna Expressway, while the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway (Ballabhgarh Link) will further improve access from Haryana and western India. Work is also advancing swiftly to connect the airport with the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, which will provide seamless routes to Ghaziabad, Meerut, Palwal, and Sonipat.

The North and East access roads catering to cargo and industrial traffic are nearing completion, while a 60-metre-wide service road in Sector 28 has been completed to link the airport with the Yamuna Expressway, enhancing local connectivity and logistics movement.

In terms of rail connectivity, the state government has approved the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Delhi–Jewar Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Railways is preparing to connect the airport with the Chola–Rundhi rail line, facilitating both passenger and freight transport. Additionally, a new Jewar station has been included in the proposed Delhi–Varanasi High-Speed Rail corridor, further integrating the airport with India’s growing high-speed network.

For public transport, an agreement with the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) will ensure that the airport is connected to nearby cities and metro networks. Interstate bus services are also being planned in coordination with Uttarakhand, Haryana, Delhi, and Rajasthan, enabling smooth last-mile access for passengers and workers.

Once operational, the enhanced connectivity will make the Noida International Airport a vital gateway for northern India, strengthening trade, tourism, and industrial growth across the region while supporting the government’s vision of integrated, sustainable mobility.
