CREDAI-MCHI Felicitates Mumbai’s New Mayor and Advocate General

CREDAI-MCHI, the apex body of real estate developers in Mumbai MMR, under the leadership of President Sukhraj Nahar, hosted a special felicitation ceremony to celebrate the ascension of Smt. Ritu Tawde, Hon'ble Mayor of Mumbai, and Senior Advocate Dr Milind Sathe, Advocate General for Maharashtra. The event highlighted the critical roles these offices play in shaping Mumbai’s urban and real estate landscape.
The ceremony, held at Nahar Panorama, Walkeshwar, Malabar Hill, saw the convergence of senior bureaucrats, legal luminaries, and prominent real estate developers, creating a platform for constructive discussions on issues impacting the city and the MMR. The event underscored CREDAI-MCHI’s commitment to collaborating with these offices to support Mumbai’s sustainable development.
Among the dignitaries honoured were Birendra Saraf, Former Advocate General of Maharashtra; Bhushan Gagrani (IAS), Commissioner of BMC; Jayshree Bhoj (IAS), Secretary, Department of Environment & Climate Change; Nidhi Chaudhary (IAS), Director, National Gallery of Modern Arts, Mumbai, alongside other distinguished contributors to governance and development.
Key CREDAI-MCHI leaders in attendance included Sukhraj Nahar, President; Bandish Ajmera, President-Elect; Rushi Mehta, Hon. Secretary; and past presidents such as Dominic Romell, Boman Irani, Deepak Goradia, Mayur Shah, and others. The event also saw participation from Vice Presidents Dhaval Ajmera, Sunny Bijlani, Gurminder Singh Seera, Dr Adv Harshul Savla, Joint Secretary Samyag Shah, Convenor Youth Wing Alka Doshi, and key stakeholders from the sector.
Prominent industry leaders present included Anuj Puri, Chairman and Founder of ANAROCK; Architect Hafeez Contractor; and Manju Yagnik, Vice Chairperson of Nahar Group and Senior Vice President of NAREDCO Maharashtra.
