Hyderabad, 19 August 2025: Cyient, a global intelligent engineering solutions company, has appointed Mr. P. R. Ramesh and Dr. Madan Pillutla as independent directors on its Board.

Ramesh, with over four decades of experience, is the former Chairman of Deloitte India and a past member of the Deloitte Global Board. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he has worked with regulatory and industry bodies including SEBI, RBI, IRDA, and government committees on corporate governance and accounting standards. He has also served as President of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry and currently sits on the boards of Air India, Cipla, L&T, Nestlé India, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals, and ITC Hotels.

Dr. Pillutla is Dean and Professor of Organisational Behaviour at the Indian School of Business and previously spent 22 years at the London Business School in leadership roles such as Deputy Dean of Faculty and Governing Body member. His academic research has been widely published, and he has served on editorial boards of journals like the Administrative Science Quarterly and Academy of Management Journal. He has also led executive education programmes in leadership, negotiation, and influence.

Welcoming the appointments, Cyient’s Non-Executive Chairman, M. M. Murugappan, said their expertise would bring valuable perspectives to the company’s growth journey.
