The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has prepared a proposal to construct a 19.2 km elevated road along the Yamuna from Wazirabad to DND, planned in three phases from Soorghat to ISBT, ISBT to Sarai Kale Khan and Sarai Kale Khan to DND. The administration has also readied a proposal for a two point six two km flyover from Tripolia Gate to Barfkhana and has reviewed associated metro expansion and road projects.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta carried out a detailed review of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) projects with senior officers and said a modern and efficient public transport system remains a priority. Officials reported that a 104.45 km network with 81 stations is under construction and that work on Phase IV priority corridors has reached 79.57 per cent physical progress.

Several corridors are targeted for completion by December 2026, including Krishna Park Extension to Deepali Chowk (around six point six km), Majlis Park to Derawal Nagar (three point five km), Derawal Nagar to RK Ashram (seven point four km), Tughlakabad to Sangam Vihar (six point three km), Sangam Vihar to Saket G Block (four point three km) and Saket G Block to Aerocity (12.6 km), according to the Chief Minister's Office (CMO). Work has begun on remaining Phase IV corridors with a target of March 2029 and Phase V(A) projects have been initiated.

Alongside metro expansion, integrated road projects include a two point one six km double-decker flyover from Azadpur to Tripolia Chowk about 73 per cent complete at a cost of Rs 2,642.7 mn, a one point four km flyover from Yamuna Vihar to Bhajanpura at Rs 2,911.7 mn and a two point four eight km six-lane flyover in South Delhi estimated at Rs 6,949.8 mn with about 40 per cent progress. Design and alignment work is under way for a two point five three km flyover from Maa Anandmayee Marg to Pul Prahladpur while permissions, tree felling and land acquisition are being addressed to strengthen the city transport backbone.
