DEVIT Secures Order for Pharmacists Registration System

DEV Information Technology Limited (DEVIT) said it has been awarded a significant work order by National Informatics Centre Services Incorporated (NICSI) on behalf of the National Pharmacists Registration Tracking System of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

The award was disclosed to stock exchanges pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements. The company indicated the contract is intended to support statutory functions of the Pharmacy Council of India.

The scope of the order includes design, development, integration and maintenance of software, applications and platforms, along with cybersecurity services for the existing IT infrastructure of the Pharmacy Council of India. The project will also deliver design, development and maintenance of web based software infrastructure and applications for the National Pharmacists Registration Tracking System. The work has been described as fixed cost and will be executed domestically.

The total value of the order is approximately Rs 260 million (mn) and the contract tenure is approximately three years. The company noted that the contract was awarded by a domestic state entity and does not constitute a related party transaction. The firm also confirmed that no promoter or promoter group interest exists in the awarding entity.

The announcement was communicated through a formal filing and the company supplied annexed details in line with SEBI requirements. The company requested that the information be taken on record and recorded the name of the company secretary and compliance officer for correspondence. Analysts may view the deal as affirmation of the company's capabilities in national public sector technology projects.
