Efkon India (Efkon) has been awarded the telecommunication contract for Mumbai Metro lines seven A and nine, the project authority announced. The contract secures the firm an engagement to supply communication infrastructure along the two corridors and to interface with operational systems. The award follows a competitive procurement process and forms part of wider works that aim to enhance urban transit connectivity in the metropolitan area.
