EMO Energy and e-Sprinto to Deploy 8,000 Electric Scooters
EMO Energy said the scooters will use its patented ZenPac liquid-cooled battery platform with active thermal management, battery intelligence and energy optimisation to improve reliability and performance. ZenPac connects to the company's charging and battery intelligence infrastructure to enable real-time monitoring and predictive insights, supporting frequent charging cycles and long operating hours. The platform is built to withstand tough urban conditions and high utilisation.
EMO Energy reported that in the first quarter of the financial year EMO-powered fleets covered 93.69 million (mn) kilometres, completed 18.74 million (mn) deliveries and consumed 2,810.7 megawatt-hours (MWh) of energy. Over the same period the company's operating fleet grew from 15,800 vehicles in April to over 19,000 vehicles by June. The company said the deployment of scooters with e-Sprinto will widen its commercial electric vehicle footprint and support delivery partners in the fast-growing quick-commerce sector.
Sheetanshu Tyagi, co-founder and chief executive of EMO Energy, said the partnership would combine e-Sprinto's vehicle platforms with EMO's battery technology and charging infrastructure to create a reliable energy ecosystem for high-utilisation mobility. Atul Gupta, founder and chairman of e-Sprinto, said the collaboration would pair the maker's vehicle platforms with EMO's battery systems to meet scale and reliability needs in commercial mobility. EMO Energy, founded in 2022 by Tyagi and Rahul Patel, builds integrated systems combining battery engineering, intelligence and charging infrastructure.
The rollout will be implemented in phases across several cities and will aim to meet the operational needs of quick-commerce and last-mile delivery operators. The move represents a strategic expansion of EMO Energy's commercial mobility offerings and aligns with demand for reliable, high-uptime electric fleets. e-Sprinto is a homegrown manufacturer of low-speed and high-speed electric scooters for personal and commercial use.
