Enlight Metals Forays into Cable Tray Aggregation

Pune-based Enlight Metals, a leading metal aggregator, has entered the cable tray aggregation business, marking a strategic step in its evolution from raw material supplier to a comprehensive steel solutions provider. The move strengthens the company’s capability to deliver project-ready components for industries and infrastructure projects across India.

Leveraging its strong sourcing network, OEM relationships, and deep industry knowledge, Enlight Metals will streamline procurement for electrical EPCs, renewable energy developers, industrial automation firms, and infrastructure contractors. The company plans to target high-demand regions including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh.

“Our strength has always been in sourcing and supply chain efficiency. Now, we’re focusing on value-added aggregation to deliver complete, ready-to-use steel solutions. Cable trays are a natural extension for us, given the needs of our clients and the scale of the market,” said Vedant Goel, Director, Enlight Metals.

The new portfolio will include perforated, ladder, wire mesh, and solid bottom cable trays, with accessories, in pre-galvanized, powder-coated, and hot-dip galvanized variants to suit diverse specifications. All products will meet IS 1079 and IS 513 standards, supported by partnerships with certified manufacturers.

Enlight has committed an initial Rs 50 million investment to develop aggregation infrastructure, integrate vendors, and strengthen working capital. ERP-backed systems will enable real-time inventory tracking, optimized delivery schedules, and faster client turnaround.

By entering the cable tray aggregation segment, Enlight Metals is advancing its vision to become a one-stop destination for high-quality, reliable steel components for industrial and infrastructure sectors.
